Channel Vision CVT-40BID High Gain RF Amplifier

CVT-40BID Overview:
The CVT-40BID is the newest high gain RF amplifier offered by Channel Vision. The new CVT-40BID is designed to
replace the successful CVT-38BID with more power and full support of bi-directional return path for use with interactive digital CATV systems. Designed to amplify the full range of available TV bands from both off-air antenna and CATV systems.
The CVT-40BID includes variable attenuation to reduce overdriving and variable tilt compensation to allow large systems to be properly balanced. The CVT-40BID is the heart of any large RF distribution system.
CVT-40BID Features:
■ Suitable for use with CATV or Antenna Systems from 5-1000 MHz frequency TV band
■ Provides an amplified 5-42MHz bi-directional reverse path for interactive TV, addressable cable box converters and cable modems
■ Includes variable gain to reduce the possibility of over driving the system
■ Variable tilt compensation allows large systems to be properly balanced and a flat signal across all frequencies

Tech Note: When combined with an external splitter
use 75ohm termination on unused ports. Cable modems
